Yesterday reports were released from the independent commission appointed to investigate the involvement of Freiburg University doctors Lothar Heinrich and Andreas in systematic doping that occurred on Team Telkom from 1995-2004.

During their investigation, the commission said there existed strong evidence to implicate team Astana's Andreas Klöden in the scandal.

Team manager Johan Bruyneel, currently directing the team at the Giro d'Italia, said that the team will take action if the evidence is there. Before he reacts to the claims, the Belgian wants to read the report to verify the conclusions of the commission.
