Norwegian Alexander Kristoff will be leaving his current team, Joker-Bianchi, for Team BMC.

The 22 year old had offers from Columbia-HTC and Garmin-Slipstream, but ended up choosing for the American Pro-continental BMC Racing Team, who earlier bulked up its roster with Alessandro Ballan, Karsten Kroon, and George Hincapie.

Kristoff is the current national champion in the under 23 category after beating Thor Hushovd (Cervelo) in the elite race last year. This year he also won stage three of the Ringerike GP.

Nikolas Maes will be following his teammate Ben Hermans from Topsport Vlaanderen to Team Radio Shack, also signing a two year contract. The 23 year old Belgian sprinter won stage three of the Vuelta A Burgos this year.
