Dutch ex-racers Leontien van Moorsel, Michael Boogerd and Joop Zoetemelk are recording a Tour de France song next week. The trio is helping to get the Tour off to a good start in their native Netherlands. The prologue will take place in Rotterdam this year.

The song they will record was written in 1960 by Wout Wagtmans and Wim van Est, who raced in the 40's and 50's (both have already died).

Dutch paper Omroep Brabant reported that ninety children will sing the chorus. A CD with all the Tour songs will be produced and will be sold starting one hundred days before the Tour on March 25th.
