Looking for some advice on rear bike baskets. I don't plan on riding in the rain or going touring. Just around town and to work and back. I don't think I want panniers, just a couple of good sized open wire baskets. Who makes a good one. Where do you get them? Do they fit on all bikes?

Check out those made by Wald: relatively cheap and sturdy, but somewhat heavy. They make rear folding baskets I always thought were nice. You'll need either rear eyelets or small 'P' type clamps on your rear stays.

How about a good cheap rack like a Blackburn and attach a basket of your choice, perhaps plastic which is light, cheap and rustproof?
