Apparently she was riding on the autos hood while he was driving. She reached for the door handle and she fell, inflicting fatal injuries. Sounds like an argument that got out of control. They have two young children.

So they are saying that she jumped on the hood of his truck during an argument? That's...wow. But reaching for the door handle doesn't track because that's really far from the hood.

I guess how or why it happened doesn't really matter now. Tragic.

Eerily similar to the Pistolis (spelling?) murder.

Now saying she attempted to open cars door, which was locked, then she jumped on hood. Must have fallen off and was run over. Not really clear what really happened at this point...still under investigation...

I can't even imagine the pain those kids are gonna grow up with.....their dad killed their mom. Just horrific.

The reputable Italian web cycling magazine, TuttoBiciWeb, recently ran an article about Dennis, focusing on his seeming psychological instability, citing the incident at the Tour when he suddenly climbed off his bike and abandoned the race because he was dissatisfied with his bike, wheels and skin suit. They also brought up a fight he had with teammate Heinrich Haussler, when they had to be separated.
They quoted Brent Copeland, who said, "It was never easy to understand which Rohan Dennis was speaking; it was as if he had two different people living inside him." He collaborated frequently with Dennis’ psychologist and thought he had made progress.
They also reported an extremely disturbing incident that happened on Oct 21, 2021, when the police in Andorra went to La Messana (where the Dennises were living) to minister first aid to an Australian women who was in a state of shock after having been assaulted and threatened by her husband, who was arrested and charged. The episode was never publicly elaborated on, but El Pais reported that other pros living in Andorra revealed, in private conversations, that the couple in question was Rohan Dennis and Melissa Hoskins.

yeah, my first reaction when I heard the news was to wonder about his mental health....he has always seemed like he had mental health challenges, but I had not heard of some of those incidents.

Melissa was reportedly laid to rest today....I hope her family can find peace eventually, especially her kids.
