And doesn't hold back regarding the changes in British Cycling, the Shell sponsorship, the leadership at British Cycling and how it is now run by people who are not riders, who do not have racing in their blood.  That many heads should roll.

By far the most emphatic words I've ever seen from him.  He always looked to me like this mild mannered guy who wouldn't upset anything but would gently work to make things better.

And in an unrelated(?) side note, the French champion in several disciplines who I'm guessing is pretty good at riding a variety of bikes had gearing mechanical issues on her debut with the Ineos Grenadiers.  (Pauline Ferrand-Prevot.) (Ben asks himself - would a freshly acquired male rider of such stature have the same issues?  I'm thinking his bike would get an additional check.)  Granted, cyclocross where any mechanical can happen.  And on the Koppenberg so certified brutal.  Still, this sounds like a RD clutching issue that would get sorted out by Ineos mechanics for a world's best male rider ahead of time.
