http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/27/health/fda-steroid-warning/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Sorry don't know how to post a live link. Adds credibility to some positive test denials.

I don't know what percentage but I would venture to say "most" OTC nutritional supplements have trace amounts of not so OTC substances. I can't remember which American rider it was but in the early 2000's he got popped. After testing all of his sups, several came back with trace but one had significant amounts of testernandro-15 (or something like that). Was it Moniger?

BodyBuilding.com is based here is Boise and they are always in litigation over stuff that is in their products that shouldn't be in them.

FYI: If you use Google Chrome you can highlight a dead link and then right click it to go there.

Yes, it was Moninger that tested positive due to undisclosed steroids in the supplement he was taking

Thank you, Orrin Hatch for excluding the supplement industry from FDA oversight... idiot

With Firefox, the same.

My doc told me to go to Costco and get the big bottles of C, D, multis and fish oil. If I show positive, I'm saying doctor's orders!

hang on. something's not right.

isn't sneaking anabolic steroids into a brand of vitamins supposed to provide a perceived or actual benefit to the user despite its illegality? "hey, i took this brand of vitamins and i feel great! gotta buy more and recommend to my friends"

and not have the opposite side effects including "...fatigue, muscle pain and cramps, and liver and thyroid problems... Women also reported unusual hair growth and missed menstruation, and men reported impotence and low testosterone."

Contaminated vitamins. Contaminated protein powder. Contaminated blood samples. Tainted meat. Chimera twins. Or my personal favorite Bassoism "I intended to dope, but never did".

It's all the same.

While all of those have been used as lame excuses for doping, having "extra" sh*t in nutritional sups is a big problem in the US.
