The site name pretty well describes what happened. Two cops, male and female partners two years on the force were alerted to a shooting. Arrived and found a 13 year shot badly enough they knew he couldn't wait so they carried him a good long ways, put him in back of the car and drove him to the hospital with one cop in back keeping him awake and pleading him to stay with them. They got there in time.

Good to read a report of cops doing good. Interesting (to me anyways) that all parties here were Black. Drive by shooter, the two kids shot (who were good kids, not gang related in any way), the kids' relatives, the cops. (I only actually know the cops are from their photos but the rest isn't very hard to guess. Locale, type of shooting, the names ... Also I got that these cops felt vested in this community.
