Just started binging today, made it up to L'Alpe stage. Great stuff, recommended to fellow forumites.

Too much editing and splicing to create emotional content is what I’m understanding. I’ll just watch the 2023 stages instead.

Another spin: The visuals and presentation are simply superb. They get the beauty of the spectacle, and get to the heart of key stages with just a few scenes. And (now this is JMO) they get to the beating heart of Le Tour for many fans a bit slower and a bit deeper. As for dramatization, or rather over dramatization that made some weepy, smart cycling fans can sort that out easy peasy. For example, WVA comes off as heroic, not selfish. As he should. Recommended

I mean why do you portray someone who won two stages, including Champs final stage as “Jasper Disaster “? It’s just completely childish.

OK, minus 1 out of 100, or not, as that's been around including from his DS in the show. Small potatoes IMO.
OTOH the rider who nearly killed him winning a big stage provides a different angle that they wisely chose to ignore. He will live in infamy, as he should, regardless of his nationality.
